My very first microphone was an AKG dynamic stage mic. Even though I purchased it over 25 years ago, I still use it today. It really is that good. I think today's AKGs are superior to that mic. Even in a market swarmed with microphone manufacturers, AKG still stands as one of the premier makers, and is worth serious consideration if you're in the market for a good mic.
