Goodall Aloha Concert Jumbo

  • In the guitar world, is there a more fitting combination than Goodall Guitars and Koa? If so, I don't know what it is. Yes, I know Goodall is no longer built in Hawaii, and yet the tradition is undeniable. In fact, when I floated the idea of ordering this guitar in Mahogany, I was lovingly set straight.

And why not? This guitar brings all the best that Goodall has to offer:  A surprising lush richness that is reminiscent of a great Rosewood guitar, with the sweetness and clarity that good Koa brings to the table, at least when built with the right hands. Seriously, there's so much music and complexity in this guitar's tone, after strumming my first chord on it, I held it at arm's length to remind myself it was indeed simply(!) Sitka and Koa. That's the Goodall magic, folks. You're going to love this guitar.

Love this guitar!

I've owned 2 Goodalls back in the mid 90's when it was made in Hawaii. I didn't think that it could better. I got a great deal from John on this Aloha model. Once shipped. I got it in a couple of days. Pretty quick since I am in Hawaii.
Back then, Goodall made beautiful and great sounding guitars. I think the ones made out in Ft Bragg is even better!
Plays like butter, nice tone, evenly balanced, and loud for a koa guitar. It is also a work of art.
Customer service at Shoreline is off the charts! I will definitely purchase from them in the future.
