Elixir Nanoweb Acoustic Guitar Strings

Elixir Strings are brought to you by W.L. Gore and Associates, an innovator in PTFE polymer since 1958 (think Teflon). If you're a skier and a hiker like me, you've probably used Gore-Tex clothing for years. Now, they turn this expertise to making polymer coatings for their Elixir guitar strings, and the results are striking. You don't have to spend long in any guitar-related discussion before someone eventually begins praising the long-lasting tone of these popular strings. It's this long-lasting tone that has led many major guitar manufacturers to ship their guitars already strung with Elixir strings.

Love the Sound and Durability

These strings have a bright sound when new and retain it for much longer than any other string I have tried. Good strings aren't cheap, so having them last a long time helps my budget.

Great strings, better service

The strings are standard, but this was my first time ordering from Shoreline, and they went above and beyond in terms of making me feel welcome. Will absolutely be turning to Shoreline for gear in the future.

Nothing beats Elixir in the right application

I know that Elixir is known for their great tone and longevity, but incidentally they also sound great on certain carbon fiber guitars. It kind of just makes sense with the impervious nature of a carbon fiber instrument to have a string that compliments it in both form and function. These also sound great on all mahogany guitars in bringing some brightness and clarity. Great strings at an unbeatable price at Shoreline!

My all time favorite strings

I have been using Elixir nanoweb strings for many years. They last a long time and even when they really need to be changed they don’t go dead like other strings, they just lose some volume. I play guitar every week at church so my strings get a lot of use. I always buy them at Shoreline.
