    When I started out recording 30 years ago, I was using a Tascam Porta-1, bouncing tracks in order to get more than 4 onto my cassette masters. The results were....not much to write home about. Great unit, audio improvement!

This 2i2 was recommended to me by an audio engineer, after assessing our church's audio/video system needs. It hooks up easily and provides part of a needed upgrade for our church audio. Shoreline's price and quick delivery were great, as usual.

Compact, well built, clear audio

After owning an M-audio M-track and witnessing it die simultaneous to the warranty expiring, only to be told by customer care, "tough luck," I was ready to try something new. The focusrite scarlett is the perfect portable audio interface. I was expecting the halo styled led gain level monitors to be a gimmick, but they are genius, finely tuned, and point the way toward high quality recordings. This audio interface will be with me for years to come.
