The metal versions of the Pantam handpan stand—including this Classic one in silver aluminum—bring a cool industrial vibe to supporting your handpan. The design is slick: it extends easily to accommodate playing while standing, and it quickly and neatly folds down into its carrying bag for easy transit.
But the real benefit of this is not its nifty product design: This is the very best tripod stand I've used for maintaining the full resonance of your handpan. Some (most?) tripod stands have a tendency to slightly dampen the sustain and sympathetic resonance of at least some handpans. After a long search, this was the best I could find for solving that puzzle. In fact, in my early in-person and recorded tests (comparing lap vs stand), resonance and sustain actually improved with this. You're going to love it.
