The Wenge version of the Cajonico is probably the beefiest of the bunch. It features a fat, tight low end, with good volume overall. As with the other woods used in the construction of the Cajonico, Wenge has a long history as an exotic guitar wood, too. The density of this wood can make it challenging to work with, but the resulting meaty tone is worth the effort (and, in this case, the extra cost).
Have a listen to the video above (always best with headphones, of course), and I think you'll really like what you hear.
Available with Wenge or Birdseye Maple top.
