This handpan is one on which Marshall tried an experimental brushed brass finish. I love the look, and I love getting on-of-a-kind pieces. It of course reminds me of my own Daniels Made handpan, with great balance and character. I tend to prefer some bottom notes, just to make things interesting, and this one delivers—that F#3 (the convex tone field on the left in the bottom picture below) lights up the whole handpan with sympathetic harmonics.
This one has a lot of lovely music in it, and at this price for an 11-note handpan, I don't expect it to last long.
