The New Century II was a cool older design from Lakewood, featuring fun inlays (their "Magic Symbols" design) on the fretboard and around the soundhole, with a cedar top over rosewood back and sides. While this model is officially off-menu for Lakewood, we recently had a customer order it, and I was pleased to learn they still build it on request.
We don't get many cedar-topped Lakewoods in our shop, but I like what it does with the traditional M-32 tone, rounding the notes our nicely, and thickening the mids. This guitar is a great take on an already great guitar.
