Planet Waves NS Micro Soundhole Tuner

Very cool, unobtrusive, accurate. I am getting one(from shoreline!) for my other guitars

What makes this tuner distinct from others is the concealed design. It doesn't affect the aesthetics of your guitar and it can stay attached to your guitar without removing it everytime you put your guitar into a case or bag.

I've used other tuners, such as the Korg and D'Addario headstock mount tuners. All work reasonably well, but I really like this one because it is almost invisible. Plus, I can see it better than the headstock tuner and it can stay clipped to the soundhole all the time - no need to remove it, except to replace the battery. Overall good value.

I've trusted my Snark tuners for a long time now, but having some stick out like that on the headstock isn't always the most visually appealing site. So, when I saw this little soundhole tuner, I thought I'd give it a try.

Pros:
- so small and discreet
- can stay in the soundhole - never be without it
- tunes fast and accurate
- easy to read display
- auto shut-off

Cons:
- when it gets loud, it has a hard time tuning the low E string (when there are no other instruments, no problem)
- I've read elsewhere that the clip that connects it to the soundhole can be fragile and break off
