"Legacy Guitars" are those builders I've sold in the past but no longer keep in stock. I'm keeping them in place on the site because I still love the guitars and hope you will, too. Read more here.

I've said in many places that I'm a huge fan of Larrivee's mahogany guitars. In fact, among manufacturers (as opposed to one-man shops like Northwood), I think it's safe to say that no one does mahogany like Larrivee. They somehow get all the projection and note fundamentals you expect with mahogany, but throw in just a bit of ring and note interplay that you'd expect with rosewood. A Larrivee mahogany guitar is a truly satisfying instrument.
The L body on this guitar expands and fills out the spectrum just a bit over the OM, resulting, as you'd expect, in a slightly bigger sound from the slightly bigger body. It's meticulously balanced, loud when it needs to be, and gorgeous to look at. This guitar's a real treat.
