If you've followed us since then, or read anything I've had to say on the matter, or watched our videos, you know that the cedar and walnut McIlroy A25 is our bestselling guitar. Ever. It's not hard to hear why: The cedar+walnut combo gives it a chunky clarity and open, ringing tone that anchors it firmly in the Irish tradition, but with its own bit of singing airiness.
However, with all the press that the A25 gets, you really should take a look at the slightly-smaller AS25. It's identical in every way except dimension, and loses virtually nothing tonally with the move to a smaller body. If you've been looking to upgrade to a McIlroy but have been scared off by the small-jumbo-ish dimensions of the A25, then the AS25 is the guitar for you.
