If you've followed Shoreline Music for a while, you've no doubt encountered my gushing praise for the Renaissance RS6, either in our listing for it here on the site, or my Youtube video. It has been my main stage guitar for more than a decade, and I'm obviously a big fan.
But what doesn't get as much press is the nylon version of this same guitar. I'm here to remedy that with this listing. We've sold a whole bunch of these over the years, but I haven't taken the extra few seconds to say how much I like this guitar. It doesn't have the more radiused fretboard of the Renaissance hybrid models, but I actually appreciate the extra breathing room, much closer to a true classical. The tone is killer—I've played this onstage, and find that I enjoy it just as much as the steel-string version. With that undersaddle pickup, it's definitely a bit stringier than a mic'ed classical, but it's so fun to play, and sound guys love it so much, you'll have a hard time finding any nylon stage guitar better than this.
