Larrivee's 03-series guitars are among the best bang-for-the-buck instruments anywhere. With Sitka Spruce tops for punch and volume, and Mahogany back and sides for ringing note clarity, these are a great way to get your hands on the classic Larrivee balance without breaking the bank.
This jumbo is no exception, although I must confess I was pleasantly surprised by the full sound and tight bass of this design. I ordered the JV-03 on a whim, and I couldn't be happier. If you're comfortable reaching around the larger body of a jumbo, this guitar is worth a serious look.
