This guitar brings together two top sellers from our shop: Our bestselling guitar is the Larrivee OM-40, and our bestselling Taylor is the all-Mahogany 522 12-fret. So when Larrivee told me they'd be building some all-Mahogany 12-fret OM-40s, I jumped at the chance.

I find the tonal profile of this guitar quite a bit different than the standard OM-40: Mahogany tops tend to compress things toward the mids, and this guitar is no exception. With strong, dark mids and a chunky low end brought to you courtesy of its 12-fret build, this guitar feels like a blues cannon.

Wonderful guitar

I bought this guitar on sale. It was a great deal. I have owned Washburn, Martin and seagull.
The first thing I did after receiving it is lowering the action as I play lightly and mostly fingerstyle.
Wood is beautiful, finish is neat, and construction is impeccable.
Nut width is slightly wide and comfortable to play. Comfortable to hold as well.
It has a mellow and deep sound. High is "clean" but not as strong as mid/low. It has a unique sound.
The most amazing thing is with its tiny body, this thing still resonates so well I feel it in my ribs.
Great guitar, I should cherish it for many years to come. Thank you Shoreline!
