The L-09 listed here features Larrivee's classic body shape, with a Sitka top and rosewood back and sides. The rosewood gives it plenty of rich and meaty volume, but the L body tames some of the reverberant overtones that you find in most rosewood small jumbos. It boasts the balance you expect from Larrivee, but with plenty of guts underneath to make it perfect for strumming, singing, or finger style. This really is an enjoyable instrument, and one I recommend highly.
