Enter the Performer models, which are a little shallower than the standard A model. Dermot shaves just a bit off the depth with the stated purpose of making the guitar more stage-amenable. The best part? While this model does tame those airy lows just a bit, it maintains all the McIlroy richness you've come to know and love over the years. I frankly think that this guitar is better balanced and punchier than the regular A25, making it a great stage option, but also just a flat-out great guitar.
