The pickup you see here spent quite a long time as the D-TAR Multi-Source, but now that Seymour Duncan has narrowed their branding a bit, it's known as the Wavelength Duo (to distinguish it from the Wavelength Solo). And I have good news: Other than the label on the packaging, exactly zero has changed about this pickup and mic combo. It's the same great design as you've been using all these years.
The Wavelength Duo starts with the industry-leading Wavelength undersaddle pickup (really just a Baggs Element, but paired with Seymour Duncan's 18-volt preamp), and then adds an internal mic to capture some of the air inside the guitar. The mic is hard-wired to the preamp circuit board, as you can see in the adjacent image. This is one of our bestselling dual-source rigs, and it's a favorite among our customers.
