"Legacy Guitars" are those builders I've sold in the past but no longer keep in stock. I'm keeping them in place on the site because I still love the guitars and hope you will, too. Read more here.

I'll admit it: This dreadnought caught me a little by surprise. We don't sell many dreads in our shop—mostly small jumbos, OMs, and OOOs—but when John mentioned that he had an Adirondack and mahogany dread that he wanted to send me, I figured I'd take a chance. I'm glad I did.
This thing really lights up a room, with fantastic projection like you'd expect from the best dreadnoughts, but also the responsiveness, balance and clarity that characterize the Northwood mahogany MJ, and a great adi + mahogany crispness. And I daresay it even has a bit of rosewood lushness sitting under that punchy clarity. It really is a sweet guitar.
